National Fiber Policy will become part of India's 12th Five Year Plan

India's inclusive national fiber policy aims to ensure the sustainability and development of the chemical fiber industry by ending the differences between several domestic fiber taxation and pricing agencies in India. Now, the fiber policy has been incorporated into India's 12th Five Year Plan (2012 to 2012). 17 years), Minister of Textile Rita Menon said.

In promoting the rest time of the technical textile conference, she disclosed that the policy proposal was submitted to the Cabinet from 2010. They now propose to include the fiber policy in the 12th Five-Year Plan document. The Planning Committee accepted the proposal and will consider the proposal as a key consideration.

The fiber policy was not announced in 2010 because many related departments raised the turmoil in the tax rate in the coming fiscal year. Ms. Menon added that since India has a strong position in the world's fiber map, the government has formulated a draft policy for the 2010-2020 decade.

The purpose of the draft policy is to strengthen the existing framework and expand institutional and technical assistance to accelerate the development of the national fiber industry.

Ms. Menon further stated that due to the fluctuation of interest rates, they expect to adopt the 12th Five-Year Plan to revitalize the processing, finishing, weaving, and clothing industries, as well as the spinning industry to some extent.

In addition, while emphasizing the need to sell more hand-made loom products and handicrafts in the domestic retail industry, she said that master craftsmen must promote themselves to micro-entrepreneurs.
