The Prada Prada 2019 menswear fashion show is betting on innovative designs that have never been mass-produced; these ideas often have a profound effect on popular culture. In the design of the show floor space, AMO has highlighted the true fashion through clever layout, and then questioned the recent attempt to interpret the new series of fashion through the show layout.
The extensive and imperfect space in Milan's Via Fogazzaro space is balanced by the addition of Cartesian fine-planning scene layouts, which magnifies the elegant texture of this industrialized space. The vast space is treated as a construction site: the guest areas of the show are divided into grids, and the reserved four lanes allow the model to run through the show floor. The layout is organized and the vitality of the show fluctuates.
The geometric pattern was heavily applied, highlighting the layout rules of the show. Numbers and symbols clearly define the specific locations of individuals in the show field, and also indicate the geographical coordinates of the distant location.
The inflatable seats designed by Verner Panton improve the overall layout. This light and airy design is very contemporary, but it was an exclusive re-engraving of the works of the 1960s. It was created by VERPAN especially for PRADA Prada. The entire show space is covered with a transparent film, leaving no trace of the mapping of the hidden light source, but rendering a psychedelic detached atmosphere for the overall space.
